The Objective

Create a bespoke high-end bottle label and presentation box for Elan Valley Gin Distillery, tailored for gin connoisseurs and botanical taste lovers.

Art Direction
I set out to create a high-end, sophisticated identity for Elan Valley Gin, reflecting its heritage and bespoke nature. Instead of a traditional botanical style, I drew inspiration from the Elan Valley’s landscape, using abstract forms of its rock formations and iconic river dam to shape the design. This approach allowed the brand to feel premium and unique.

The goal was a distinctive, cohesive brand that communicates quality craftsmanship and stands out in the spirit market. Blending tradition and modernity, it should tell the valley's story using unique elements appealing to classic and modern gin drinkers.

User Touchpoints
I further expanded on the brand identity by creating labels, cards, and a gift bag that feels bespoke for gin lovers. These items would be suitable for customers who would like to buy Elan Valley Gin as a gift for a person on a special occasion. I made labels and card designs that feel bespoke to the consumer for those special occasions.
